Workforce Advantage Academy Charter School, an Orange County Public High School, offers juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn while they learn. Students spend half their time in a paid job, gaining valuable work experience while earning school credit as an elective for the internship.
The other half of the week, they spend in small academic classes, studying math, science, English, social studies, physical education and business. They complete the same graduation requirements as any Orange County student.

Chartered by Orange County Public Schools, Workforce Advantage Academy teaches the same academics as other public high schools, but it combines that with paid internships. The career academy offers a head start on life and is not an alternative school.
